Managing Expired Warranties

Last updated: June 20261 min read

When a warranty expires, HomeRecall marks it clearly so you know the item is no longer covered. You can review expired warranties, remove old ones, or upgrade to an extended warranty.

1

Go to Inventory

Navigate to the Inventory section.

2

Filter by Warranty Status

Use the filter to show items with Expired warranties.

3

Review each item

Decide whether to purchase an extended warranty, or simply note that the item is no longer covered.

4

Update the warranty record

If you purchase an extended warranty, open the item, click Edit, and update the warranty expiry date and details.

Note:Expired warranty records are kept in your history — don't delete them. Proof of original warranty coverage can still be useful for manufacturer disputes.
