Receiving Warranty Expiry Reminders

Last updated: June 20261 min read

HomeRecall automatically sends you reminders when a warranty is about to expire — so you always have time to act before coverage runs out.

How reminders work

When you add a warranty expiry date to an item, HomeRecall calculates when to send you a notification. By default, you'll receive reminders 90 days, 30 days, and 7 days before expiry.

Adjusting reminder settings

1

Go to Settings

Click Settings in the sidebar.

2

Open Notifications

Select the Notifications tab.

3

Adjust warranty reminders

Toggle on or off specific reminder intervals — 90 days, 30 days, 7 days — or add a custom lead time.

4

Save

Click Save. New settings apply to all future reminders.

Tip:Enable email notifications in addition to in-app notifications so you catch expiry reminders even when you're not logged in.
