Adding Warranty Information to an Item
Adding warranty information to your items lets HomeRecall track expiry dates and send you reminders before coverage runs out.
Open an item
Go to Inventory and click on the item you want to add warranty information to.
Click Edit
Open the item's edit view.
Scroll to Warranty
Find the Warranty section.
Enter warranty details
Add the warranty start date, expiry date, and coverage type (Manufacturer, Extended, Retailer).
Add warranty notes
Note any special coverage terms — what's included, what's excluded, the claim process.
Attach the warranty document
Upload the warranty card or certificate PDF.
Save
Click Save Item.
Tip:Add warranty info right when you buy something — take a photo of the warranty card before putting it in a drawer.
