Inviting Family Members

HomeRecall is designed for households, not just individuals. You can invite family members to share a home so everyone has access to the same inventory, documents, and maintenance records.

Open your home

Navigate to Homes and click on the home you want to share.

Open Settings

Click the Settings or gear icon on the home detail page.

Go to Members

Select the Members tab to see who currently has access.

Click Invite Member

Enter the email address of the person you want to invite. They must have a HomeRecall account or will be prompted to create one.

Choose a role

Select Editor (can add and edit items) or Viewer (read-only access).

Send the invitation

Click Send Invite. Your family member will receive an email with a link to join.

Tip:Family plan members can invite up to 5 people per home. Starter plan is single-user.

Note:Invited members can access all rooms and items in the shared home. They cannot delete the home or manage billing.
